Professor Visscher has ministered to Canadian Reformed congregations in Houston, British Columbia, Ottawa, Ontario, Surrey, British Columbia, Burlington West and Burlington-Waterdown, Ontario. As a full-time professor he retains his ministerial status with the church at Burlington-Waterdown, Ontario.
